The Birding Diaries - 30th March 2024
Grab your birding gear and get ready to tick off those hard-to-find Gauteng specials at Zaagkuilsdrift, located just 50km north of Pretoria. With over 430 species, Zaagkuilsdrift is a birdwatcher’s paradise. We will explore along the Zaagkuilsdrift road and Kgomo Kgomo floodplain, with knowledgeable guides on hand to point you in the right direction. Afterwards, join us around the braai fire for friendly banter, great prizes and the usual swopping of birding stories. Funds raised will go towards conservation projects in our national parks.
Date: 23 March 2024
Venue: Zaagkuilsdrift Road, Pienaarsrivier (Directions provided on booking).
Price: R650 per vehicle
Time: 05h30 – 10h30 (Guides will be available from 05h00). Bring & Braai and Prizegiving at Zaagkuilsdrift Lodge afterwards.
